WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF RF ENERGY?

RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to break down old collagen, stimulate new collagen, tighten skin, and melt fat.

CAN THIS BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?

Yes, Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments.

IPL Lumecca photofacial

Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) device to treat brown and red areas of the skin.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands and arms.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING AND AFTER LUMECCA?

During treatment there will be a bright flash of light from the Lumecca that feels like a light elastic sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subsides within an hour. Over the next 24-48 hours you may see a darkening of pigmented spots; in the week afterwards the pigmented lesions flake off, leading to an evening out of skin tone. After treating vascular lesions you may see the vein blanch and disappear or a color change in the vessel which dissipates after a few days.

Neuromodulators

We offer both Botox and Dysport which work very similarly with some nuanced differences. Botox/Dysport work in areas of movement to reduce the formation of lines over time, or to soften lines that have developed. The most common areas to use these products include between the eyebrows, the smile lines next to the eyes, and the forehead, but there are many other places where Botox/Dysport can be helpful. Results last an average of 3-4 months.

Fillers

We offer Juvederm, Restylane, and RHA fillers. We choose only products that are fully reversible with the most trusted safety profiles. Your provider will explain in detail the advantages and disadvantages of each option, guiding you towards the best decision for the goals you have in mind. We do not utilize permanent or “semi-permanent” fillers, but instead use only hyaluronic acid products, which are known for their safety, reversibility, and consistent results. The most popular areas to utilize filler include the lips. the areas around the lips and mouth, and the cheekbones. These products last anywhere from 9-24 months depending on product selection and placement.

Kybella

Kybella is used to treat stubborn, unwanted areas of fullness. The most common treatment area is underneath the chin. It uses the same molecule that digests fat in the stomach to “digest” and excrete unwanted fat underneath the surface of the skin. We utilize package pricing rather than price per vial, since this optimizes customization to each individual as well as decreases overall cost for you. When kybella was first released, each under the chin treatment required 20-30 injections. With advanced training Kari Knight is proud to offer cannula placement of kybella, meaning the entire area can be treated with only two injections. Each treatment reduces the fat layer by an average of 30%, 2-3 treatment sessions are typically required to achieve ideal results, and those results are permanent.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a unique product that allows for a very gradual and natural effect. It is strategically placed in the areas of the face that lose volume either due to natural aging or weight loss. Sculptra is unique from other “fillers” because it works with your body’s own collagen production. After injection, Sculptra works gradually over the course of 3-4 months to stimulate endogenous collagen production, decreasing wrinkles and other signs of aging. Results last as long as it takes your body to naturally break down its own collagen, which is an average of 2 years, and can be maintained with once yearly treatments.
