Kari Knight FNP-C DCNP

 

Kari has been in healthcare since 2009, with her first post-master’s work at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. She has been practicing dermatology since 2015, became board certified as a nurse practitioner in dermatology in 2019, and started her own woman-owned dermatology practice in 2020.

Kari has a specific interest in procedures, and enjoys the surgical aspect of dermatology as well as the art of natural cosmetic injections. She has always been drawn to the incredible impact that looking and feeling one’s best has on health and well-being. She enjoys sharing evidence-based ways to prevent and reverse chronic skin conditions with non-pharmaceutical, lifestyle-based interventions, as well as the most up to date traditional interventions when appropriate.

Kari graduated from Gonzaga University with her Masters degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to that she received her Bachelors degree in Nursing from Loma Linda University, where she learned the importance of holistic medicine and lifestyle interventions. She has a love and commitment to continuing education and believes in seeking opportunities for growth and advancement of her skills and knowledge

Kari lives her with husband and two children, and spends the majority of her time and energy chasing her kids through orchards and mountains.

 

Tawnya Bothwell FNP-C ARNP


Tawnya Bothwell is a long-time resident of Yakima, WA.  Since 2007 she has been helping patients at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital who struggle with skin wounds caused by cancer, diabetes, lower leg swelling, and other causes, and brings her extensive skin and wound knowledge to her dermatology practice.

She earned a master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from Gonzaga University and an undergraduate nursing degree at Washington State University

Tawnya understands that when skin is affected from aging, rashes, wounds, or acne it has a profound impact on well-being. She loves working together with each patient to find individualized solutions to skin conditions and concerns.
