Eczema
-
Watching your child scratch until their skin cracks and bleeds, or living with that yourself, is exhausting. We take the time to understand your (or your child's) specific triggers and flare patterns so we can build a plan that actually calms things down, not just a steroid cream and a shrug.
-
Eczema (atopic dermatitis) is a chronic condition that causes patches itchy, inflamed skin, often associated with dry, flaking areas. It may start in infancy or early childhood but can appear or persist at any age, and it tends to flare and settle in cycles.
-
Eczema stems from a combination of a compromised skin barrier, an overactive immune response, and genetics, often alongside other conditions like allergies or asthma. Flares can be triggered by dry air, harsh soaps, certain fabrics, stress, sweat, or allergens. The more we begin to understand the skin microbiome, the more undeniable it becomes that many external and internal factors contribute in ways we are just starting to recognize.
-
We offer everything from barrier-repairing skincare regimens and topical steroids to newer non-steroid topicals, and biologic or oral therapies for more severe or treatment-resistant eczema. Our goal is supporting your skin microbiome and understanding your skin, giving you real relief instead of just managing symptoms.

If itching disrupts sleep, if skin is cracking, oozing, or showing signs of infection, or if home remedies and OTC creams aren't cutting it, please come in. We can also help if you're not sure whether it's eczema at all.
